A log sanitizer that keeps useful context

What the text cleaner detects
Detection covers common formats for email addresses, phone numbers, IP addresses, payment card numbers, and developer secrets. Secret patterns include common API-token formats, authorization values, JSON web tokens, password assignments, and credential-bearing connection strings.
Pattern matching has limits. A number may be an identifier rather than a phone number, and a secret with an unfamiliar format may go undetected. Names, street addresses, unusual keys, and context-dependent private details need your review. Add exact text to remove details the patterns do not recognize.

Frequently asked questions
Is my text sent to an AI service?
No. Detection and replacement happen in this browser tab using local patterns. The tool does not upload your input or output, or save either in browser storage. Normal website analytics do not include your text.
Is the text cleaner free?
Yes. No signup, payment, or export quota. There is an input-size limit to keep processing responsive; use a relevant excerpt for large logs.
Does it remove every piece of personal information?
No. It detects supported patterns, not every possible secret or personal detail. Review the output and use exact-text replacements or manual edits for anything missed. No matches means no supported patterns were found, not that the text is safe to share.
Can I redact names and company names?
Add the exact name to the custom text field. The tool does not infer which names or organizations are confidential. Check spelling variations separately.
Will it preserve JSON or log formatting?
The cleaner aims to preserve surrounding text and line breaks. Replacing a numeric value or part of structured data can change its syntax, so treat the output as a reviewable text excerpt, not an executable configuration.
Can I edit the result before copying?
Yes. Review and edit the cleaned output before copying or downloading it. Changing the original input or detection settings requires cleaning again so you do not accidentally export an outdated result.
